What a fantastic album!! Yeah, after not being much of a BÖC fan for many years, I have recently started going deeper than just their greatest hits and I am totally digging them! What do you think of this one, man? Well it is still new to me but I will give you first impressions. Ordinarily I don't go for rip offs, and David is YES a dead ringer for Ozzy. That is probably what kept me away from this up til now. However, there is just something about the guy/this that I like. I am surprised he didn't get signed, the vocals are good as is the guitar playing. I would have thought a sindustry label would have lapped this up. The sonics are poor but I am not too hard as I know this is a demo, and a first outing at that. The bass playing impresses me at times. I think the high water mark on this disc, so far, for me, is America Wake Up. That song really grabbed me. I liked some of the other songs. It is not consistent but this is also an artist in his early stages of songwriting. I see that even here he holds alot of promise, even more than just being an Ozzy novelty. So yeah I like it. I will be listening to this some more....

My son is attempting to score FREE tickets to Sunday's show in Vancouver. Heaven and Hell, Megadeth, Down. $60 tics for free?
God bless him. Even for trying. The dj says they are out of promos but she is working on it for him.

I have been looking forward to this, especially with Mike Watt playing for em
Pretty cool EXCEPT I could have gone WITHOUT the saxophone... not jiving with me. There are times when I can appreciate it in a song but so far it doesn't fit with what else is going on music wise....
but it is the Stooges and I am thankful for that. The guitar is sassy!
