Well it is still new to me but I will give you first impressions.

Ordinarily I don't go for rip offs, and David is YES a dead ringer for Ozzy. That is probably what kept me away from this up til now. However, there is just something about the guy/this that I like.

I am surprised he didn't get signed, the vocals are good as is the guitar playing. I would have thought a sindustry label would have lapped this up. The sonics are poor but I am not too hard as I know this is a demo, and a first outing at that. The bass playing impresses me at times.

I think the high water mark on this disc, so far, for me, is America Wake Up. That song really grabbed me. I liked some of the other songs. It is not consistent but this is also an artist in his early stages of songwriting. I see that even here he holds alot of promise, even more than just being an Ozzy novelty.

So yeah I like it. I will be listening to this some more....

If you are liking that one, then you will love his other two!

Let me know if you want a copy of the David & Goliath demos that I have also.

Perhaps I shall.... I am in limbo right now as far as purchases go. Have to wait awhile..... Which is a bummer. I lost the auction on Ebay for PoS.
