| BARREN CROSS - Rock for the King BARREN CROSS - Atomic Arena
Since I'm not part of a church at this point (if indeed I ever am again), I'm starting to feel a need to fill up with the resources that I do have. Hence, I think I will be spinning my Christian metal more regularly and checking out some bands I haven't heard yet. For example, Transient Soul is gonna be burning me copies of the first two BLOODGOOD cd's because I've never heard them.

| The Bloodgood stuff is.......well its bloody good! I havent heard the all of their stuff however. I have Out of the Darkness on cd and Rock In A Hard Place on cassette. Some of the earlier stuff Ive liked.
Today I am listening to:
Vengeance Rising - Released Upon The Earth.
Edit:
And Troggy, ya know that is not a bad idea to kinda edify yourself with some music to worship to!

I know, I know...but when they nail a song they really NAIL it! However, when they stink, they REALLY REALLY stink! I can't believe they've actually released some of the recordings they've done. Why do you think I'm selling them?

Now it's my turn to say "ewww". That gal really creeps me out for some reason... :silent: I think I like some of Apologetix' stuff because I myself have a knack for doing the parody thing (although I have no intention of making a career out of it). However, I think if they had stuck with only the best ones they have come up with and only released those, they would have 2 good albums instead of 7 mediocre to awful ones, and they would probably have a bit more respect from many of us as well. :farao: Anyway, all kidding aside, I thought some of their ideas were clever sometimes and I thought this album cover was brilliant:

| Surprisingly Trivium- THE CRUSADE
my 10 year old is really into metal. Well he bought this album with a gift card and I kinda groaned. But then he played it. SO far, I really like it. It sounds like early Metallica/Megadeth with singing (!) and guitar solos. Not something that is common with the Hot Topic bands.
