| How's that DVD? Some new sweet finds: Yes - The Yes Album Jethro Tull - Aqualung The Yardbirds - Five Live Yardbirds Diamond Head - In the Beginnign (I think that's the name...) All remaster/bonus track editions ... except for the Diamon Head one, which appears to be a complete remix of the bands's first album ... interesting! | |

Yeah, Behold the Beginning is a great collection of the first album plus many of the early singles. It's the comp that turned me on to their pre- Borrowed Time material. There are a couple of different versions of this - is this the cover you got?

Yeah, I'm digging the Tull & Yes. I actually hadn't heard that Yes before. Tull I've had some MP3s of for a while, but never really bit into them until now, if you see what I mean. That is the cover that I got. I think there's 10-11 songs on it? It says inside that every song is from the first album, except for one, which is a single.

OK, I might be thinking of the re-issue of their debut, the White Album (aka Lightning to the Nations) that came out a few years ago. It has the entire album plus most of the early singles as well. Either way, the cd you got is still a great one! Hang on to it even if you get the others, because the version of "It's Electric" that is one there is different than any of the subsequent releases I have. I don't think that version appears anywhere else except perhaps the original vinyl it was released on. Can't really go wrong with DIAMOND HEAD!

Aqualung is probably my favorite - cause it was the first. Song from the wood minstral in the gallery I'm not as familiar with the newer stuff - but I may just get there. . . You're making me remember and want to hear them again!! btw - when I lived in Colorado I saw a killer Tull cover band at a city fest downtown. Lead singer was a ringer for Ian Anderson. My good buddy Derek Anderson named his son Ian. . . not due to tull, but hey. Cool name.
