| I FINALLY have something to put in this thread....picked up HADES "Downside" for two bucks at a music shop, its pretty good, lyrically nice and political "Hail To The Thief " ha ha gotta love that, musically similiar to Dan Lorenzo's other band Non Fiction, with more groove and less doomish moments,I think Alan Tecchio sounds best on this, even better than with Watchtower. | |

Oooh... nice grab! I've been wanting that for awhile but I haven't seen it around. Where did you find it? I recently picked up an import version of that album that has two bonus tracks penned by Rick Gretsch (sp? - the bassist) which never appeared on anything else.

| Found it @ Zia on Thunderbird Road. I was out that way chillin' with an NAU friend and thought ... why not stop by, since I only hit that Zia about once every 6 months or so. It was 17.99 used, and the tracklisting is fantastic. It's cool for the simple reason that it actually almost triples the amount of Blind Faith minutes you have, due to the one album thing. Next thing I need to pick up from them is that Hyde Park DVD. Interestingly enough ... the liner notes in this deluxe edition do not speak highly of the Hyde Park performance. Whatever. I find the lyrics to this album to be highly soulful, inspiring and helpful on a personal level, which is why it has quickly become a fav. What are the names of the bonus tracks on your import? If they are different from the bonus tracks on mine ... we could just swap bonus track CD-Rs and save a bit o' money on both our ends. | |

Yeah, that was a really important album for me during the Christmas season of 1997-8. It was a regular player. Definitely great stuff. - dOOm&gLOOm wrote:

"Exchange and Mart" and "Spending All My Days" are the two Rick Grech penned tunes on thre RSO import version I have. I'm fairly certain that they do not appear on the deluxe edition you have because I checked for them last time I saw that version. I also have a cdr copy of the song "Sleeping in the Ground" which first appeared on Clapton's Crossroads box set, which I do believe appears on the deluxe edition you have. Yeah, a cdr of the bonus tracks would be cool! I'll probably pick up the real version next time I see it anyway tho.
