things. Is it instrumental 'guitar' rock? Or is it like ... Zeppelin

Well I recommend In Loving Memory Of... it is bluesy rock with vocals.. hard to describe.. they are fairly diverse.. sometimes modern, sometimes classic... went on to become Thornley

Hey thanks for the reccomends, ghosts. I watched all those videos a few days ago and a few others as well. I can definetely dig this band, or at least some of the tracks. It's an interesting mixture of styles.

Hey, is UFO the heavy metal band that Vinnie Moore played guitars for? I don't know much about the band, but I love a lot of Vinnie's solo music so I've always felt pushed to check them out.

Ult/Trog/anyone else who knows UFO -- given what you know of my tastes (or regardless of them, haha ), which UFO releases would you guys recommend? I don't tend to see them in stores much--are they highly sought after?

Well, Vinnie has only been on two studio and one live release with them so far:

But the earlier years of the band (after the first 2 space rock albums, which I also love) are the classic ones if you wanna talk about aesthetics. Michael Schenker played lead guitar on albums 3 thru 7 and then Paul Chapman on the 4 after that once Michael left, and there's not one of those albums by them that I don't love.

Oh, ok. Well personally, I'd rather go for classic albums than just the ones Vinnie played on. I'll look them up on Metal Archivs later and maybe figure out which ones I should look for. So ... what kind of music did they play again? NWOBHM? Or is it more hard rock? Like I said, I don't know much about the band, just that Vinnie Moore was in the band for a while. And I don't even remember how I found that out, haha.
