| BTW ... the REASON I came to this thread: I just aquisited a ticket to the Belphegor/Immolation/Rotting Christ/Dawn of Azazelshow tonight up here in Flagstaff. I know some of you don't like extreme metal, but I love the stuff and this should be a good show tonight! Small venue, too, which is good. OH, and there's also a good chance I'll be also aquising a ticket to go see George Thoroughgood and the Destroyers this Friday at the Orpheum. Hey Troggy , I just had an idea ... if you're not going to see George down in Phoenix, maybe you and Tranny and Harmonic wanna trip up here to go see George with a couple of friends and I this Friday? | |

Yep, just downloaded their entire catalogue the other night. Great band with such a positive vibe. I have had their Classics disc for awhile and love the hits, but I've never heard most of their other albums, so it's time to turn trog on to them.

Some good finds there. That Cheap Trick has to be pretty rare. I'll have to add it to my list. Molly Hatchet just has such cool covers. The Savatage cover, is it the one with the skull and the weird tool-thing in the eye?

I dunno how rare it is. I was thinking about it just the other day and just happened upon it that night. It's a nice friend for my PLACE OF SKULLS - Love Through Blood 10 inch, which is the only other record I have of that size. - ultmetal wrote:

Yeah, especially the first three. - ultmetal wrote:

Yeah, the "turkey baster"! I read an interview with Jon Oliva at one point and he said it's actually a homemade syringe for doing naughty things with heroin. The differences between the LP and CD releases for this cover are the band logo, picture placement and the overall coloring: Now I want to find Sirens on vinyl with the original cover: Oh, and I forgot to add that I also found AEROSMITH - Get Your Wings with the original gold/orange colored cover that we were talking about just the other night.

Yep, Steve played on it. He may have produced it also, I can't remember. I pickded up Drunken Lullabies for my wife as a St. Patrick's Day prezzie and it was just what the doctor ordered. She loves 'em. She's really been into the whole Irish ball of wax for the last year, so this fits right in. I'm sure I'll be acquiring the entire catalogue for her before too long. I'll have to check out the DROPKICK MURPHYS as well. Thanks for the tip on them too. Are they a bit more punk than FM?
