ANd I was on a total Trouble kick today too!

OK speculation time... do you think it was Eric's errr habits that contributed to his lack of dedication? I honestly don't know but I do know that pretty much everyone who has seen them recently has commented how trashed/out of it/wasted Eric was and it seems on the live DVD he slurs more as the set goes on.

He is one of my favorite vocalists of all time and I am bummed as well as skeptical on his ability to be replaced

I always loved his voice...it fit so well...I'm sure Kory Clarke will do a great job since Rick & Bruce wouldn't choose a slacker to replace Eric freakin' Wagner....I'm leary, but I'm hopeful....

I don't want a bunch of, we hate the government, songs either and that is what Warrior Soul is known for. Some commentary is ok but not as a whole album.

I think they should have renamed... I have listened to some WS at Myspace and I am not feeling it. Plus after reading up on him he seems like a primadonna wanker. I can't see how this guy is gonna pull off the classics live.. especially the range Eric had from low/doomy to that cool upper register stuff in a matter of bars

I predict he won't. They will stick to the more mid range songs and change some to fit his vocals. He is a primadonna but so was Eric, that part won't change.

I agree. It could be an interesting combo in the studio, but live doing the classics? No.

This happens every time any band changes singers...I'm sure it'll be good, even live. But from here on, everyone will pine for Eric. Not that I don't understand, he's the MAN...I love him.

But let's give KC a chance for TROUBLE's sake...we can't just write off such a classic band over something like this. Who knows, this could turn out to be their "Dio years"...

I think they're too old for the Dio years but I will listen with an open mind. I liked Dio before he joined BS, I don't like KC.

I'm just saying that, creatively, it could open the floodgates for them to take the Trouble sound and expand on it, like what happened to SABBATH w/ Dio...

Me too...but I'm trying to keep my expectations even...not expecting it to royally suck ass, but not expecting it to be better than TROUBLE already is...
