@ Joodah - I've been meaning to pick up that DT for a while. I got an
MP3 version of the new EP and I'm blown away! The song "Canadian
Metal" especially will probably always hold a place in my heard, haha.

BTW, have you seen the clip where Fenriz raves for like 2-3 minutes
about how awesome Uriah Heep is?? I love listening to this guy talk,
just because he's got absolutely nothing to prove, so I think he just
talks and talks with no rhyme or reason sometimes. It's pretty
hilarious.

Yeah, I watched the clip. Like I said, I love that guy. I haven't heard Adrenaline OD before ... I'll have to take another look.

But I went out to hastings and picked up the new DT after posting that
message earlier. I'm liking it so far! Like you said, it's all over the
place. It seems like all their albums since Panzerfaust have had a
certain theme to them, and this is the first since then that hasn't had
a continuity to it. But I'm loving reading through the liner notes,
they are hilarious as well as insightful, and his music reccomendations
are awesome. Some I will have to check out, and some I've already got
in the collection -- which makes me feel like I'm headed in the right
direction (according to Fen, at least, )

I don't know if you can recover but apparently you can get to the point where it is no longer aggravated or what have you. I know both Livgren and the dood from Mission of Burma required YEARS before they could play and record again but they also had extreme cases of it. MoB played ridiculously loud shows with no hearing protection.
