Anyone else dig these guys?

wow, that is tough for me. I certainly appreciate their huge imprint on the scene and the spectacle. But I, personally, just can't stomach Jello Biafara and his contrived politics. I just can't get into them. I guess I am too narrow minded. But i just can't. Jello instantly annoys me, and not in a good way either.

I haven't paid much attention to the lyrics... I've only got a cd a friend of mine made up for me... i don't even know the song titles

I love DK. They were one of the earliest punk bands I was into and they have some of the most interesting and complex song writing arrangments within the genre. Definitely respectable from a musical standpoint, IMO.



I also think I am able to get past Jello's    because I have never been into politics at all and I usually don't completely understand all of the things he rants about anyway. I do love the way he blasts the "moral majority" on the In God We Trust, Inc. EP though.



I see Jello as a kind of a twisted clown who throws temper tantrums, but he's so extreme that he really doesn't get under my skin too much.

It might be "Buzzbomb from Pasadena" - I'll check and let you know.

I have all of their albums myself and rarely listen to them anymore.

On the cd my mate made for me, there were two versions of this song, one with the granny, and one with the normal vocals

Saw them live in 84 and nearly died doing it, the only long-haired person in a audience of Punks and Skinheads. It was before the big Punk/Metal crossover era started and metalheads were considered the enemy at the time but it was really a turning point for me. I spent the next 10 years listening to a lot of punk.
