| You can also hear FEEDING MY ADDICTION on Angelo's page That is pretty much half the album there I think! I like THE CONTRACT most thus far.
I think it sounds excellent... I totally dig it!

| Ghosts, there is a discussion about this album happening on the Heart of Metal board as well.
The Contract rules, but you knew it would. It's an old Vengeance song! \m/
According to Glenn, the song on Angelo's site is a rough mix. However, I like the snare sound better on the rough mix than the mixes on the Once Dead MySpace. Otherwise, I'm liking what I am hearing. Hope they send me a CD. I didn't get to pre-order due to the fact that I was in the band at the time of the pre-orders.

| Oh I am sure they will hook it up... they love you! hahaha plus they need the review at No Life Til Metal
Yeah I know one of the hold ups on mixing at the end was they were looking at different drum tones and I think they changed the kick. I liked the snare on the rough mix too. There was actually another version of Feeding for awhile.. it was the one Brian Jay had done and there was a keyboard part done to emphasize the riff... not nearly as gay as it sounds.. it actually worked and I hate keys! So we will see what the final product brings. I guess Body Parts is off the chain! But when James sent Doug the mixed cd (not a production one) the end of the song got cut off! So I guess James is sending Doug a new one to post. I suspect some of the other members will be posting additional tracks on their individual myspace pages as well. It is great to hear Doug soloing too. I like his style.. very soulful. On Flesheaters the first solo is Doug and the second one is Larry. After all these years it is easy to pick out Larry and Glenn but also nice to hear Doug getting in there too!

| You know I was just listening to Chaos AD by Sepultura and I could see some similarities between Max and Devin vocally...
The more I listen I just like these tracks even more and that is before Body Parts is posted!

| I hope these guys do well. But I think they really messed up on their vocalist choice. | |

| I personally think Devin's vocals go well with the music. It's there to scratch your face off | |

Is this because you prefer Scott or were you thinking they should have went with a traditional metal vocalist? Just wondering

| I think a traditional vocalist would have done the job better. I understand Scott couldn't do it because of distance etc, etc. But I'm not hung up on him as the vocalist choice. | |

Scott could have done it, but the choice was made for him by the band.

Yeah I see what you are saying there... it is a style thing. I like Devin's vocals but then again I like some of that genre and was a big Vengeance fan so I was prepped. Yeah there were logistics involved with the Scott thing but I think Into The Pit benefitted from Scott not having to travel and all that stuff. I guess I am just disappointed because with a few people I get the impression that they can't like the Devin stuff out of loyalty to Scott which I don't think is the case at all. I know the band loves Scott and they think highly of him... so I don't get the whole one or the other thing. Scott knows who his fans are and isn't being disserviced just because people listen to Visions of Hell.

| I think Scott would've added a different dimension to the songs. And I think Devin's vocals sound different from his vocals with Fasedown. I think they blend very well with the scratch-your-face-off metal that is Visions of Hell. | |

Scott could have done it, but the choice was made for him by the band. This is true. I would have been thrilled to sing on a CD for them. I had every intention of doing so. I had even begun discussing lyrics ideas with Doug and even demoed a song. After we played UFTAII, I received a call that I was out of the band. It was not my choice whatsoever. I was honored to be a part of that band and am still good friends with all those guys, but I can't say that I wasn't disappointed to not be part of the new CD. However, I really didn't think there would even be a debate about Scott vs. Devin. I never sang on any of the new material. It was written for and with Devin. It's been over two years since I sang with Once Dead.
