How long have you been riding?

Just got my endorsement last September (2009), so I've been riding for about 7 months now and loving every second!

Got my "M" added to my license on Friday. .. so that's 3 days now - and have yet to touch a bike.

My wife got us signed up for the MSF course (which is free in Illinois!!! ) while I was on deployment in Germany. The wait list is usually 3 months or more - so she timed it perfect!!

Since we had the class, all we needed to do was take the cert to the DMV & get the "M" added - so we are both legal now.

Now. . .we are looking for a bike. Cruiser, preferably - starting mid-sized - so something from 500-900 most likely. For our first. Then, we'll upgrade and she'll ride whatever we get.

We got plans, yes we do. . .

OH - and got some nice leather chaps Friday at a garage sale. Love that. . .

Bought a Yamaha FZR 600 back in '92 or so and taught myself how to ride. Kept it for maybe a year or so then we parted ways.

In September Trog & I did the safety course together and I finally became legal with an M endorsement.

Now it's all downhill...

Now - July 2010 - with a bike for, what, around 6 weeks or so? Maybe 8?

I've got around 2500 miles on my bike - and around 1000 on my wife's (that I rode too).

Now looking to sell her little bike and get her something along the lines of a VStar 650 or 950.

I was once an avid rider both on and off road going back to the early 70's. Rode all over the Bay Area, So AZ and So Cal. Now I only ride on a rare occasion and don't get as wild. But it is still fun as it ever was.
