DEATH BREATH !

ARRGGGHHHH!

This band is so awesome. I mean, any band that has a name like
DEATH BREATH and put's out an album called Stinking Up The Night
better back it up with good music!

They are definitely a throw back to early Death Metal, ala REPULSION
or GRAVE. But the vocals are not indecipherable. Kinda like early DEATH.

But there is such an old school punk/thrash/cross-over element to all
the songs that really adds to the whole vibe.

I love the tone of the guitars, and the drums sound killer!
NO TRIGGERS and NO PRO-TOOLS!!

The main culprit behind this is Nicke Andersson who used to be
the drummer and main songwriter for the band ENTOMBED.
However, he stepped away from metal years and years ago to
form the KILLER rock band THE HELLACOPTERS. But he read
this book called "Choosing Death" about the old Death Metal
scene and got nostalgic to play some metal again and created
this band. I'm soooo glad he did..

I mean, they have a song called "Headed For Decapitation" !!
AWESOME! That's like, 7,777 bonus metal points for
that alone!

I'm listening through it for the second time right now and I've got to say, man, I dig it. Thanks again!

It's a great disc! I like it because it has such an old school
late eighties thrash/death metal sound..

Same reason I like this one. I tend to think old school death metal is way cooler than new death metal

I liked this a lot--very old school Swedish Death, like old Nihilist, Morbid, Grotesque, Crematory (SWE), etc.
