I've always wanted a good Bruce Springsteen collection of all of the hits and all of my favorites, but he's never put one out that had everything on it that I wanted. Neutral

Therefore, I had to take matters into my own hands and make my own 2 disc set, which I finished yesterday and have been enjoying immensely!

Here is the tracklisting I chose:

Disc 1:
01. Blinded By the Light
02. Spirit in the Night
03. Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)
04. Thunder Road
05. Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out
06. Born to Run
07. Badlands
08. Streets of Fire
09. Darkness on the Edge of Town
10. Santa Claus is Comin' to Town (live 1978)
11. Independence Day
12. Hungry Heart
13. The River
14. Cadillac Ranch
15. Nebraska
16. Atlantic City
17. Because the Night (live)

Disc 2:
01. Born in the U.S.A.
02. Cover Me
03. I'm on Fire
04. I'm Goin' Down
05. Glory Days
06. Dancing in the Dark
07. Pink Cadillac
08. My Hometown
09. War (live)
10. Tunnel of love
11. Human Touch
12. 57 Channels
13. Lucky Town
14. I Ain't Got No Home
15. Vigilante Man
16. Streets of Philadelphia
17. Dead Man Walkin'
18. Santa Claus is Comin' to Town (different live version)
19. Merry Christmas, Baby (live)

Any other fans?

I'm a huge fan. I'm going to see him live, with the E-Street band, for the second time, this summer. I've replied to tthis thread elsewhere.

I am hit and miss with the Boss... Some songs I really like and other times he seems too full of himself and up his own ass. Like especially when he gets too political.

I prefer his darker stuff with some exceptions.

My fave tracks:

I'm On Fire
Streets of Philadelphia
Tunnel of Love
Glory Days
Cover Me
Dancin In The Dark

I love his dark, moody stuff...like the "Nebraska" album...his pop stuff is cool, and he's a great songwriter, but I prefer his depressing stuff...
