| Any other fans of this criminally overlooked Classic Metal/Thrash band! Climbin' the Walls and 3-D are genre defying classics!!! | |

| Oh hell yeah! Great band! They never really got their due though because they were too late into the movement to really take off, IMO. Thrash was already on it's way out as the flavor of the month in 1989 when their debut came out. But my old guitar player in D.T. SEIZURE was sorta buddies with them from their club days as WRATHCHILD (before the UK glam-wankers forced the name change) and they definitely had an influence on our early sound: http://www.myspace.com/dtseizure | |

| I used to see WA all the time in Virginia Beach at the Peppermint Beach Club. Seemed like they came through every couple of months. A great live band but I could never really get into the albums. The albums just didnt have the same flame as when they did the songs live. Good band though. | |

| Oh HELL YEAH. I was lucky enough to be present for a couple of their rehearsals prior to going into the studio to record 3-D. It was clearly evident even at that early stage that the album would be amazing.
I saw them countless times over the years. I started going to see them when they were still playing straight-ahead AC/DC-ish rock (usually opening for Kix). Saw quite a few shows when they were WA and then got to see them on their last SAZ tour for A Taste For The Perverse...they were opening for Skid Row(!).
Jay & Terry were such an amazing guitar tandem, it's really a shame that they seem to have dropped off the face of the earth. Shannon was really the only one that stayed in music (as far as I know) and Brad went on to be a FOH engineer.

| Wrathchild America & Souls @ Zero are both great bands. Too obscure for their own good(s) . . .
and BTW screamin, you are still a wanker. Just as you leave puberty but that inner 15-year old never seems to die ... none of us will ever truly leave the "wanker" stage of our posting development.

| I loved WA growing up. I picked up Climbin the Walls in the cassette cut out bin for 4 bucks at Wal-Mart in 1993. Great, great album. I didn't really care for No Deposit, No Return, but everything else was very very good. Hell's Gates and London After Midnight are my favorites there, but every song (minus track 3) was outstanding, and they did a great job with the Pink Floyd cover. | |
