bad news for Transfigural Form

The good news: the album is written and all parts are worked out as far as arrangements go. blah, blah, blah.



the bad news: the hard drive on the recorder died before I could back up all of the masters so everything that has been recorded up until now is completely and utterly gone forever. Everything needs to be re-recorded, etc..etc..and a new recorder needs to be purchased (the lense on the burner went out before the drive the drive, this machine is, after all, 5 years old)



anyhow, this is only a minor setback, I'll just invest the grand into a brand spanking new 24 track digital studio with all the bells and whistles and get right back on track in another month or so...but hey, at least one song made it up onto the myspace page before everything went to crap. This will
also push the release of the album back two - three months since everything needs to be re-recorded. I was hoping on using my tax
refunds this year to finance pressing the album but that is going to go
towards buying the new 24 track recorder instead.

Dude that stinks about losing the recordings! Im sure you will bounce back though. Good luck with the new album and have fun spending that grand..........I wouldnt mind spending it on some new cool stuffage either......but alas no grand for me.

I t does stink indeed, Troggy will not like to learn that I lost my cover version of Troglodyte Dawn's Redeemed in that mess as well.

I still have the "Redeemed" mp3 at home...but I'm sure the quality isn't as good. Your call on what you want to do...
