| Oh yeah - awesome bike Randy. The V-Star is most definately in our list. That & the Shadow, Vulcan, M50, C50, Boulevard, Interceptor. . . . so many nice bikes out now... I like HD - but they seem a bit overpriced. . .when you can pick up a nice metric V for under 10k, new - and a harley can be twice that! But yeah - they do sound good!!! | |

| Yeah, I'm not an HD fan...too corporate for my taste. I will own a custom Griffin before it's all said and done though! Get your motor runnin', bro! Post pics when you're on two wheels~! _________________ - Ian McDuyhard wrote:

| Yes - will do! I'd love an Indian - but not from the past. . . 20 years or so. My uncles all rode them when my mom was growing up (50's...) - but there are certainly lots of great bikes out there. We were just talking last night about eventually getting a 1100 or bigger VStar at some point. . . BTW - she got extra credit on the interview. Thanks!!!! | |

| Finally! Couldn't post all weekend. . .cause we were riding (and I had to work!!) Anyhoo - here she is - Suzuki Boulevard S40 - 650cc - single stroke (yes, it thumps - just like my bass!!) Me & Jory (wife) sitting on it: It's a bit small for 2 up riding, but doable. Easier around town. We did about 3 hours sat night after getting it, and it was raining - didn't care. I'll ride in the rain. Jory - not so much. Last night we went to the high school parking lot and Jory practiced on corners, then we tried 2 up - it went well, so we hit town a bit, and even a country road. we're ready for a bigger bike now. | |

| Coolio! My ride is an '05 Suzuki C50 Boulevard. Nothing too fancy. It has aftermarket pipes (HK I think...I've never taken the time to look at 'em closely), Kuryakyn ISO grips, stilletto ends, foot brake cover & shift cover, 4" risers, skully teardrop mirrors and a few other little trinkets here & there. I just put the rear seat and sissy bar back on as my wife wants to do a bit of 2-up travel this weekend. Sounds good to me! | |

| Sweet Ride!!!! We're (already) looking for a bigger bike - the 650 single ain't doing it - C50 is definately in the running! Also looking at the Shadow, V-Star and a couple others. We did a little jaunt last night - started out thinking we'd go for an hour or two - a couple hundred miles & 5 hours later. . . B - L - I - S - S But, I gotta tell you - these midwest springs suck. It was around 35 - 40 after dark, and it sucks riding with numb fingers. But then again - beats walking. We had a blast - can't wait to do more . . . and get some warmer gloves. | |

| Dood! You're gonna love it! It will likely feel huge at first, but you'll get used to it quick. I'm totally into mine, so much so that I'm planning on keeping it for a work bike once I get my custom Griffin. A pair of custom leather bags came with the deal, but I have yet to use them because I hate the way they look. Taking my first long roadtrip to CA this Thursday though and I may strap them on so I can bring a change of clothes with me! <-- no extra clothes = rock out wit' yer cock out!_________________ - Ian McDuyhard wrote:

| Yes, when I took it for a test ride, I was taken back a bit. . . but that ended around second gear. It just felt. . . right. Going from the S40 it was like going from a pinto with a flat to an Escapade. Great ride - and we got it with just over 3,000 miles on it. Practically brand new. We are looking to do some traveling. Cannot wait. I've found some cool looking -such as they are - Saddleman bags for decent prices. We are looking at getting back to Mephis perhaps. Maybe get out west some. It don't get hot there, right? | |

Nah, it's typically quite mild out here...especially mid-summer... _________________ - Ian McDuyhard wrote:

| Finally - at a computer where I can upload a pic! Here's my '05 Yamaha V Star Classic: Sitting in my driveway. I've been working or it's been raining - so only have only put about 300 miles on it so far. But I love it - rides great - handles well - it looks much bigger that it 'feels'. Now - for some nice longer rides!!!! | |
