I was in Vegas on business a couple of weeks ago. A friend gave me tickets to Heart, 4th row center. Awesome show. I had not seen them for 15 years. They still have it. Ann Wilson just belts it out, seemingly with no effort. Goose bumps. They played all the hits but I think my fav was the version of Mistral Wind. Also The Who's Love Riegn O'er Me. And of course several Zep covers. Great show.

Yep, saw them last year on Valentine's Day with my wife and my reaction was the same as yours, tink - fantastic. They opened with an INCREDIBLE slowed down version of "Mistral Wind" that was complete with ocean shore sounds...magic.
They also did the same WHO cover and the ZEP stuff too.

I honestly don't think there is any female vocalist out there with the class and finesse like Ann Wilson. Heart has always been a favourite of mine.

I heart Heart. Was one of my first shows ever back in the mid 70's. I liked them so much that I traveled 500 miles to see them again a half year later at Cal Jam (300,000+ people).

Then you might be interested in her solo album from 2007 entitled 'Hope & Glory'. The music is much different but her signature voice comes shining through.

I just listened TWICE to Heart's newest album in 6 years entitled 'Red Velvet Car'. I like it a lot. I would say their best since the early 80's.

I am on the same page as everybody else here, great band even though I hate their 80's stuff. Seen them live a few times including last year when they played the Dreamboat Annie album in full. It was a magical experience and I think Ann Wilson has one of the greatest female voices ever and I still think she is gorgeous even when her weight got out of control. Their first 5 albums are all classics but Dog And Butterfly is my favorite mainly on the strength of the track "Mistral Wind".

Some of my best rock memories were from seeing them on the 'Dog & Butterfly ' tour. FYI, I just got a couple of bootleg videos of that tour. Excellent show!!!
