| It is more personal and social than myspace. But there is the ilike application. You can sign up as an artist and upload music. As a user you can pick your favorite artists and add multiple songs and videos to your page.
You get a page which is real basic but there is a gazillion apps you can add from funny, to games, etc. You can install different comment walls where people can forward stuff, post personal comments, pics, videos, etc...
The main goal is to reconect with friends, network with classmates and co-workers... you can meet new people especially through fan pages and groups
Sounds weird but once you get going it is HIGHLY addicitive lol. It has already passed up myspace in users and has a much more international flavor. Definitely get Trog Dawn on ilike though so you can get your music out there... there is a link often to buy directly from itunes so it may generate sales. ilike.com is a stand alone site as well

| Personally, I don't like all the apps. It used to be primarily for college students and was very basic, but beautiful in its simplicity.
MySpace is better for music, Facebook is better for connecting with people.
There are more security concerns on Facebook though, as you can upload as much personal information as you want...

| I don't like too many apps either but ilike is cool and the demotivators... and you do get a fair bit of leeway security wise to where only friends can see all your profile and others can see some or none of it | |

| Yeah, although to use an application, you have to aggree to allow the app to see your details, and they can be stolen that way.. and all your friends too, so you can harm more than just yourself if you install some of the more dodgy applications. | |
