| I think the Victoryzine link above points to OCI's review, but thanks for including the other one. OCI's is one of the best reviews I have received thus far! |

I sent them a copy about three years abgo when I first released it, and then I gave Doug Van Pelt a copy personally when Tykkus played at the first Up from the Ashes show. If they reviewed it, I never heard about it. |

Segue Look on the cross, bella canzone in cui prevalgono melodia e lenti assoli.

| Lame online English translation wrote: | Which opening notes would expect to us from a album that has in cover nient' other that the written Troglodyte Dawn and in which capeggia incontrastato primate near one a cove? Exact!, and it is just on the falsariga of "2001: Odissea in the space "that esordisce opener the 667, for more a ambient than 1:40. The plan Troglodyte Dawn has been give birth from the mind of Randy Michaud, one man band that it has been taken advantage in this work before the collaboration of various guest. The release it is a lot underground, also boasting a label quite, the disowned Stone Groove Records, but in the complex the job is discreet, sinning oltretutto clearly to level of production sound. The sound of the act American it is a heavy/stoner/doom of blacksabbathiana memory, and that Randy does not hide it at all since the fifth Forever after is one cristianizzata parody of After forever of the celeberrima band of Birmingham commanded from Ozzy Osburne. The execution del ours is always appreciable, is to instrumental level that vocal, where propugna a effettato constant riecheggio that it is made to very appreciate for all the 52 minuteren of extension del Cd, but never of lofty level and for committee put out of order from a production, as we said, rather mediocre. Good instead the job of lyrics, which in the booklet brings back the punctual Biblical references from which mutuano.
The first true song is Fallen world (than, they say the press to us, includes also Human race), approximately 9 minuteren and means of heavy/doom, corposo or soffuso, from beautiful the riecheggiante effect, the intonata voice of Randy, the refrain intelligent. Parts doom and other more heavy andante divide ulteriorly the acoustic theater box; a lot very executed is the assolo. Redeemed is much likeable, solar and yield still more glad from the exalted effect live of a folto public that it applauds to every note... happy metal if ce n' it is one. Longing is a supported nocturnal cake ambient from an equally sweet one riff, even if then with going the tension in the trace knows them. Saying of Forever after eccoci to Flower, constructed around little notes, you bring in the 6:05 duration minuteren single changes of intensity, not of sound. Dood is a voice, stranezza synth and exotic instruments, while the eighth longest (10:35) Lust (which ingloba Testimony and also Droon) alternate heavy sturdy, doom, is made accelerated more and it is appraised for the good vocal lines nonchè for the job of lead guitar and solos. It follows Look on the cross, beautiful song in which prevails melodia and assoli discs of a valve. It closes an other ambient, Dawn, where a test use of synth generates a lot pathos for all the five minuteren that hard.
The intuition Troglodyte Dawn is proposed therefore in way won: we hope alone succeeds with the time in professionalizzarsi mainly giving the possibility to more taste the good ideas to us with an adapted sound.

| Is that amore? I can't tell. But your riffs are memorable and very cool music throughout To quote Twothirtyeight " I don't get paid to sing what everyone is thinking" I think you know how I feel about reviews generally and even the good ones I see as fairly pointless. I prefer to let my ears and mind be the judge. To thine own self be true. THere has never been a great record made the kind that stands the test of the time which was written as an attempt to please the critics and the crowd. Basically the artists just went with their instincts, hard work, and made what they thought was a good record and then the listener agreed |

| Hey, just thought I'd post this other review I found online: "In all my 14 years on this earth, I have learned a thing or two about real metal. I listen to bands like Kreator, Slayer, Cradle of Filth and many, many others. Too many to list. I have like 100 CDs. So I know. What I am talking about.
OK seriously, Trodlotyde Dawn sucks. This is probably the worst thrash album I've ever heard! Everyone smart knows that albums with old paintings on the cover and song titles like "Fallen World" are supposed to be thrash albums. He doesn't even play that fast! WTF? I heard somewhere that thiss album is supposed to be influenced by Black Sabbath, but I just don't hear it. I guess there's maybe some Dio Sabbath in there a bit. But Black Sabbath sucks anyway.
And of course, there's the dreaded 'filler tracks'. 667 is just a minute of 'noise' with something that sounds like a dood peeing in a rainstorm while torturing little animals. Dood is useless to the true metalhead as well. And this album is not nearly Satanic enough to be taken seriously by real metalheads anyways. Truglotye Dawn really isn't worth the CD it's printed on."
