Anyway, I'm really getting into it. I first listened to it while in hospital and it took me four tries to get through to whole thing without falling asleep, although that was the depression more than the music.

The whole album is one big highlight, but the parts that stuck out are Fallen Word, and Lust and then the Black Sabbath riff (was that a direct rip of, or an adaptation? i keep thinking i recognise it from somewhere) and the didgeredoo song. I was actually thinking a few days before I got the album that I'd never heard any metal which incorporated indigenous Australian instruments. I might have to do more of that myself one day... redefine Aussie metal :p

Thanks Iggy. Yeah, it's s/t, although I've toyed with the idea of re-naming it or having an unspoken alternate title of "The Cave" (the official version has Plato's cave allegory in the liner notes). I will send you a proper copy of the debut soon - with color inserts and all.

The Sabbath song is a parody. The music is the same, but the title and lyrics are different. I couldn't get permission to record it the original way with only minor changes, so I did it with completely different lyrics.

Yeah, I love didgeridoo. For another sampling, check out the song "Oracle" by SHEAVY. They did a good job with that in 1998 :thumbsup:(although my use of it actually came first, as I recorded it between 1995 and 1997. )
