I heard about this on the CMR ... I apologize for my ignorance, who is Zac Schertz?

He was a poster on ezboards who was killed last year in an auto accident, I believe, shortly after last year's Cornerstone. At least I think that's who it is. Tink, please correct me if I'm wrong...

Yes. Zac's family has been a long time part of the Cornerstone fest. He was I believe 27 and a huge metal fan. He was a big poster at the Ultimatum board under the name Bonegrinder. Last Nov. he was killed in a car accident. We did a tribute/ service at C'stone for him and had all his bands play as well on Sat.

It was a great tribute. Lia and Tink did a great job as well. I'll be sure to post a pic of me in my Trog shirt at C-stone

Although I am a little disappointed Tink. I was expecting a little end-of-the-song-angst-culminating in- guitar smashing & kicking over of amps! LOL

Yeah, this was a great tribute! The song actually gave me goosebumps!
I didn't know Lia sang. She has a great voice and the both of you
together were a perfect combination!

Zac was truly one of a kind, honestly. He worked long and hard at
Cornerstone, and fwiu - was instrumental in bringing in some great
bands.



Just so you all understand his influence at cornerstone, when
StrangeLand was playing at the open-house following the funeral (at his
wife's request - not sure what to call it. . . ) in walks Glenn Kaiser
- who was personal friends with Zac.



Wonderful guy. Severly missed. Can't wait to see him in heaven - where I know he's rocking out!!
