Well...I suppose that begs the question: if a doom artist makes ambient music, is it still doom? 
Technically, the debut is ambient doom, but mainly because the respective songs contain one of the two styles. As I learn and experiment more with really mixing the two styles together, I suppose then it will truly be "ambient doom".

Oh good. I like to warn people about it when I can, because some folks don't have any frame of reference for ambient and if they hear it expecting something like what they heard on the debut...well, I'm sure that disappointment and refunds might follow...  |

Yes, until one's tolerance is built up, it can have that effect. It's not really music that you "shout from the rooftops" anyway though, you know? It's more like "private music".  I'm not even pursuing any reviews or anything for it. It is what it is, and people will just have to seek it out and discover it for themselves. |
