Oops! I forgot to add the gifts my good friend and brother Dan (aka Transient Soul) bestowed upon me this weekend:

BLOODGOOD - Bloodgood
BLOODGOOD - Detonation
BLOODGOOD - The Collection

I've never heard them, so TS gave me his original copies! The first two are a 2-on-1 KMG re-issue with none of the tracks missing like so many of those packages. cool beans!

Thanks again, bro! Big Smile

Wow! That was FAST, man!

My experience with them is that they have always been slow on shipping...

I think he felt bad because of the website problems last weekend. I told him not to sweat it but he sent it out priority.

haha, I knew you would ask so I quickly burned it and loaded to the MP3 as I dashed off to work. Now I almost always play my MP3 on shuffle, so I have not heard the whole album yet nor in the context of the album (I shall do this later today)

But of the 7 or so songs I heard so far, I like it.

But the fact that I like it has stirred up a twinge of self-consciousness in me LOL

No, it is kinda cool so far. The songs seem stronger at first listen, he retains his Ozzy coolness while seemingly standing a bit out on his own as well.

The tuneage definitely has some moments!

Overall I think I am going to be digging this

I have had that since it was released. Did you get the cd with bonus track? That is a great album. Total classic. I have NEW BIRTH as well which is a very different record but still cool. You do know Mass is still going right?

Relient are modern with the punkish influence. In the vein of Saves The Day, etc

I will give them this. They know how to write a catchy tune, they are very witty, and for a youth group band the lyrics are VERY clever and have some depth upon reflection. In fairness to the band I think they are shedding the youth group boundaries but they still are geared toward the younger set. However, I find them to carry a certain charm
