| Great band and great tunes. Funny story, I was at work a number of years ago, when I was working for a middle-Eastern restaurant, when who comes to the counter to order a falafel, but the singer of Big Sugar (whose name escapes me). And there I was looking at him trying to figure out who he was, thinking it might have been a classmate of mine from years gone by. He orders, I make the food, and he leaves. Right after he exits, the gal beside me goes "I can't believe that was the Big Sugar guy" I'm thinking "Duh!" , knowing very well they were playing a local bar that nite but not making the connection. Digging A Hole is an awesome tune. | |

| This band also sounds up my alley! One of the reasons I love THE CAVE so much!
When were they making music? | |

| Western Canada... the reason Big Sugar is no more.. kind of Basically as I understand it on Big's last single they were having trouble getting Canadian station managers to play the single because they were put off by a reference to a Canadian town.. so Gordie thought that was just so typical and quit the scene as a protest. Here is where it gets weird. Protesting he moves to the States, Austin TX and starts Grady which is popular in Canada getting huge in the UK and yet has no record deal in the U.S. http://www.myspace.com/gradyaustin | |

| Metalken, I thought if you saw Gordie on the street it was probably in Canada! Most Americans don't know Big Sugar! I do becuase I live on the border(Buffalo NY) so we hear more Canadian artists than alot of Americans! Ghosts, I did not know that! A Canadian station I listen to out of St Catherines, Ontario simply said Gordie felt they ran their course and now he is interested in persueing Grady! | |
