Sorry I haven't been around much... putting in arseloads of hours at work... Been so busy!

Not that you've asked, but an update on my carcass...

I've lost 35 pounds thanks to Crack.... I mean Isagenix! Been working out five days per week too. I lost enough weight that I finally felt comfortable cutting all my hair off... I used to keep it to cover my fat cheeks!

I am trying to spend some time learning photography stuff... Got a new DSLR camera!! Yay!!

Anywho... that's about it... Haven't done ANY music at all save for one bluegrass song... I just did the vocals... it's a silly humor song - if you care to hear it, just PM me and I'll give you the url!

No sweat that you haven't been around. We're here when you need us.

Glad to hear that Isagenix is working for you. My wife and I did that a couple of years ago. Just make sure you get on a good maintenance plan and that your life habits change (eating/exercise) as a result of the program, otherwise the weight will just come right back.

So what's this Isagenix stuff?

I'd love to lose a few pounds, or 20.......

It's a cleansing diet... and before you think what I was thinking at first... It's not a diarhea diet!!

You replace two meals per day with the shake and take the vitamin supplements. I am getting many nutrients my body hasn't seen for years! I guess McDonald's wasn't putting them into their 'food'.

You exercise 30 minutes per day and have one sensible low calorie, low fat, high fiber meal per day.

It's working out well for me because I HATE eating in the morning. But the shake is convenient and it gives my body something to work with. I can see myself doing the shake breakfast as a maintenance thing after I reach my target weight!

BTW - there is no aspertame or other artificial sweetener in it. And there are no stimulants. They do want you to drink tons of water and avoid things like caffeine. I don't drink soda much anyway... but I do love iced tea... so that kinda sucked at first!

They do have a non-caffeine energy drink mix that I used while we were on the program that helped me get off of a severe caffeine addiction (two 16 oz. MONSTER energy drinks daily - usually as a substitue for sleep - plus Starbuck's with extra double shots of espresso? you do the math). They were pretty good too. I liked them and they were a good substitute for the energy drinks I had come to depend on.

I use Meth for energy... just kiddin'

Yeah, they taste fine. I liked the orange/citrus ones best, but I think they have a grape one too if I remember right - not my favorite flavor, but it works in a pinch.

Plus, they certainly don't taste any worse than the drinks you have on your fasting days!

Anything that forbids me from drinking coffee is of satan!

Coffee is the only tangible proof of God's love for me outside of really good beer, music and of course Jesus
