PETERSBURG - A Pike County couple faces multiple charges related to sexual acts with minors, including incest, say Petersburg police.

Mick Rowe, known as “Handsome Mick Rowe,” was arrested Tuesday by Petersburg Police Cpl. Steve Nash and charged with felony counts of incest, maintaining a common nuisance, dealing marijuana to a minor and aiding another person in committing sexual misconduct. Rowe also faces a misdemeanor charge of activity related to obscene performance, according to charging information.

According to the affidavit for probable cause filed in Pike Circuit Court, Rowe is accused of having sexual intercourse with his biological daughter.

According to the court document, confidential witnesses said in fall/winter 2006 Rowe's daughter, now 18, said she was having a sexual relationship with her father since age 12 and that her mother was aware of the relationship.

In the charging information, police said the Rowes were considered “swingers” and Tracy Rowe knew her husband was having chat room conversations with 17 and 16-year-old girls on an MySpace, an Internet social networking site, requesting sex and nude photos.

According to the affidavit for probable cause, another witness said Rowe bought her “skimpy underwear” when she was 16, and asked her to model them so he could take pictures to share with his friends.

Another witness in the affidavit said Rowe offered her money for sex. The witness also told police Tracy Rowe was jealous of the attention Mick Rowe gave their daughter.

Rowe's wife is charged with felony sexual misconduct with a minor and a misdemeanor charge of recklessly furnishing alcohol to a minor.

In the court documents related to her case, police said the victim - a 14-year-old friend of their minor son - was offered marijuana and whiskey before Tracy Rowe performed oral sex on him when he spent the night at their home.

Mick Rowe faces additional charges of keeping and using marijuana at his business, Rockstar Tattoo Parlor, and his home.

The affidavit also accuses Rowe of photographing a three-person orgy involving his wife and another couple at the business.

Mick Rowe is held in the Pike County Jail on $100,000 cash only bond, with a pending trial date of Nov. 1.

Tracy Rowe posted $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Pike Circuit Court at 9 a.m. June 11.

Wow. We need to pray for the kids who got wrapped up with these guys. This sucks.

Wow, what a mess this is. How did he get wound up in all of that crap?

I also wonder if there will be a mass burning of Mick-related music once the rest of the online body gets ahold of this info...

Not funny at all though...very sad. I hope the kids involved can learn an important lesson and move on from this, and I hope Mick gets straightened out through this also.

I've read about this one several boards. All I can say is I hope it's
not true, both for the Rowe's sake, but also for the sake of those
kids. If it is true, they deserve to be locked up.

Mick has a good heart deep down. A couple of years ago, I was having a hard time with something, and he really encouraged me. Guilty or not, I hope he draws near to the Lord during this time.

God will at least forgive him...society at large (read: generalized ot make a point), never will.

Well I am not going to be the I told you so guy but I would like to share my take on this.

There has always been something about Mick that never sat easy with me. Maybe it is my job but I have like a radar for this type of thing and I have yet to have a situation where my gut wasn't eventually proven right.

I feel bad for Mick but I feel an infinite amount more sorrow for his victims. He didn't wake up in this mess he walked down the road to it. He is responsible for his actions if the charges prove true. And can we just cut the bullshit here and admit that there is every chance they are true? Multiple incidents, multiple victims, nature of offenses, general pattern of behavior, the amount of bond (and cash only) all point to a situation that would be very hard to rig. If he is innocent then I pray God delivers him from this trial and vindicates him. But if he is guilty, God help him too but he must account for these actions. And this level of sex offense, I am sorry to say, especially given the span of time, is rarely curable. He will have a miserable existence til the day he dies struggling with his temptations, thoughts, etc (and that is hoping he struggles against them).

This should have nothing to do with his music but since he was ripping people off I have been very hesitant to support his projects anyway. If he is found guilty I for one will not be doing anything that will provide fresh revenue for him. But that is just on principle not because I am a cd-smasher type. People are human and sinful and the whole burn the catalog thing doesn't fix anything. But in the same breath, if he is found guilty, your sympathy, one way or another, should not be informed by your like of his talents. I saw this with OJ and countless other. Justice should be blind and people shouldn't get extra credit just because you like them. The people who are in need of the most support and sympathy here are the real vicitms, whoever they turn out to be.

But this is all just IMO
