Nah, he had a pretty big crank to go with his steroid enhanced musculature. Too bad the steroids will probably shrink his bonage before long though... Razz

But seeing a "doomster" posing nude...it just seemed so "not doom" you know? Neutral

I mean, just look at the cover:

It's a bit much, don't you think? Rolling Eyes

OK, I already had a live version of "Wolf Moon" on the comp that had Sabbath's "Cornucopia" as the intro, and I just added "Black No. 1" and "Haunted" on your recommendation, wakey. WAY UP!

No more for now, as I will have to digest what I currently have and see if it decorates my cookies or not. I have a sneaking suspicion I will want more, but we'll see... GEEN!

Cool dood. I think you really need to hear the studio version of Wolf Moon as it is an absolute classic. Something to bear in mind with Type O is that they have a good sense of humour coupled with a very rock and roll attitude. I haven't seen the naked Steele photos, but it wouldn't spoil my enjoyment of such a classic band.

It's all about the music anyway. The other stuff...I can take it or leave it - leave it, to be honest. Some things should remain private.

I can see how the ladies would like it, so I don't want to put a negative spin on it for any of you, but you know, as a guy raised in a homophobic society, nood doods are a little bit...scaddy. Afraid

It's kinda funny, I read in an interview and someone asked him about posing
for playgirl, and Pete Steele was like .. "well, If I would have known that the
majority of people reading Playgirl were gay guys, I wouldn't have done it.."

For reasons I can't really put my finger on, I never really got into Type O Negative...saw them open for Queensryche and almost fell asleep...saw them open for Motley Crue and almost fell asleep...the songs I've heard off of CD's never really grabbed me...

Love Type O..

'October Rust' and 'World Coming Down' are my favorites.

Steele's more kind of 'intimate' Razz lyrics are about the only ones in music I can tolerate, for some reason. Of course, it's vastly destructive without a context of a marriage covenant.... If I were married however, I would apply them to that relationship. I can listen to them and dig it, and that says something.

Saw Type O last night in Birmingham UK. They also had Paradise Lost on the bill, so it was a great night. Mixed feelings from the audience about the Type O set, but I enjoyed them. It was a bizarre gig. Check out the comments on their MySpace!

Yeah-was great mate, but well weird. PL played a great set, then the changeover was well over an hour during which Sabbath was belted out over the PA. Then came The Birdie Song, followed by the intro tape. Type-O played for a pretty short time (I think this was due to curfew problems) They went off and there was lots of messing around by band members, including mooning and videoing of booing audience members. The plastic cups were mounting up on the stage due to the fury of the crowd and the band came back on and played Black no I. Pete challenged the cup throwers to hit him (jokingly) which they did, so he had to stop playing and restart the song. After this song he ripped his bass strings off and that was it. Apparently he had had an asthma attack earlier, causing their late arrival. He was playing his bass one handed a lot, and sometimes not at all but it still sounded great. He has an incredible bass sound. I loved it but many there were furious! Lots more happened but it was all crazy. If you view their MySpace you will see some unintelligent people's remarks including a lad that thinks that Pete was miming etc.

Absolutely. It was a bizarre night, but they are a great band anyway and so are Paradise Lost. If both bands had only done half an hour, it would have been worth the admission price.
