Anyone else see this movie?
A classic mockumentary that is very well done IMO. The band Billy Talent are named after Hardcore Logo's sellout guitarist. Thoughts?

I know it may be hard but track it down. This is one of the greatest rock movies ever made. It is not comedy, though there are certainly some entertaining parts. It is the story of this 'classic' hardcore band. They reunite for a benefit show and end up doing one last tour. Billy Tallent has gone on to better things and the singer, who really makes the movie in many repsects, is trying to rekindle the fire (as is everyoe else)
Incredibly realistic and believable. The songs are VERY good. The extras are sweet. And the ending is AMAZING>
Definitely worth it.... If you can find it!

Some of the performance parts of that movie were shot in a local, but now defunct bar in my neck of the woods. It was a dingy hole in the wall (literally. it was a couple of basement rooms with parts of the walls taken out to make a huge club) that, if you do not mind a thread hijack, I had the pleasure of seeing many a band perform; with a Kings X / Galactic Cowboys double bill being a highlight. Both bands were so on that night.
