Seeing Johnny Lee Hooker in The Blues Brothers is awesome . . . especially if you have the expanded edition where he almost gets into a fight with the harmonica player Big Smile

My next blues hunt will include stuff by JOHNNY WINTER and HOWLIN' WOLF. Hello?

I have no Howlin Wolf. He's been on my 'to get into' list for quite a while. What would you recommend?

This is the only J.Winter I have:

It's a great compilation, even featuring an awesome Robert Johnson
medley near the middle! If you like your blues raw and edgy, almost
psychedelic and soulful as they come, you will love Johnny Winter.

Thanks for the recommend! cool beans!

I'll probably start with "Best Of" collections from both, then I'll look into other releases from there. Troggish

- "Holy Crap! That dude is really WHITE!"
