PostSubject: Huge Riffs!   Sun Apr 27, 2008 11:36 am

Just a thread for some Monster Riffs... not even necessarily a whole song just a big, memorable riff

I have countless ones but some of my all time faves are:
Day of Reckoning- Megadeth
Sabbath has loads of course but Paranoid, Iron Man are easy picks
Same with Trouble but Run To the Light, Bastards Will Pay, Psychotic Reaction, END, Touch The Sky
Vengeance- Into The Abyss, Can't Get Out, Burn, and more
Die Happy- Real, Perpetual Motion, Slide Rule, Justified,

I have many many more just from these guys but I wanted to get the ball rolling. I mean this could go on forever if you want... we have even started talking about Victor Griffin!!!!

Oh man...If I start with this, I'll be here all day! Shocked

OK, my friend Chris tells me that moderation is the key so I'll just start with one at a time:

Probably not the next one, but there is an entire TD/Sab tribute/covers album in the works. Troggish

Just thought of a couple more...

SPIRIT CARAVAN - Sea Legs
THE HIDDEN HAND - Currents

Wino is maybe a small notch below Griffin when it comes to writing huge, devastating, memorable riffs.
