| okay, I've been a fan of these guys since 1983..have their entire discography, have seen them live only twice (it seems a lot of bands are deciding to utterly bypass Minnesota) and am curious.....since there are three different incarnations of the band, Danzig era, Graves era and the current one that I like to call "the Only Experience" due to it being Jerry, Dez Cadena and Marky Ramone.......I ask the question......are there arny fans besides Troggy and myself, what albums ya got, how long ya been a fan, seen em live, what's yer fave era of the 'fits.......have you ever or are you currently a member of the fiend club? as for me...... what albums ya got: I ahve the discography on my computer, plus the die, die my darling 12" and the monster mash (fiend club only) 7". And some various Plan 9 releases on cassette. how long ya been a fan since 1983 which makes it 24 years. seen em live: only twice, but well worth it. what's yer fave era of the 'fits: the most productive of course, the Danzig era. Though the Graves era wasn't bad, but all the in fighting and bad blood between Jerry and the former members (which includes even his brother Paul "doyle") boggles my mind. The recent incarnation, to me, is more or less a novelty act, something I can take or leave. have you ever or are you currently a member of the fiend club? I was a fiend form 1997 - 2000.......why so short? I didn't feel like renewing membership. |

| Danzig era is definitely my favorite. That's the stuff I got turned on to them with and it's the stuff that still gets me off most. Fave albums: <- great collection!Fave tracks: We Are 138 20 Eyes Green Hell London Dungeon Where Eagles Dare Angelf**k Skulls Hatebreeders Braineaters Halloween When I Turned into a Martian I've only heard a couple of cuts from the Graves era and it didn't grab me quite so much - though I would be willing to give that stuff another chance at some point. I did think it was cool that they did "Monster Mash" though! It just made total sense for them to do that song. I've never heard any from the Only/Dez/Marky era. Is anything available? I currently have all but Legacy of Brutality (basically identical to Static Age except for one or two songs), Earth A.D. and Evilive, but I'm sure I'll pick them up along with the newer stuff at some point in time.

| as far as the early stuff, ya just can't go wrong with getting "Walk Among Us". that album boasts, what i feel is the best lineup ever. Glenn, Jerry, Arthur Googy and Doyle. |

That's great! And with the appropriate punctuation, it will be a WINNER! (hint: two punctuation marks are required) |

| Love the Misfits! I like the Danzig and Graves era best. I think Famous Monsters is an excellent album and is one of my favorites. Danzig era Walk Among Us is so far my fav. Ive been a casual fan since the late 80's and I am still picking up stuff from their catalog. The Samhain stuff was pretty good too. |

| Man, Earth A.D. is a thrash CLASSIC!! That lp rips !! I love Danzig era MISFITS, and I'll take them over the RAMONESanyday. I get into a huge fight about this with my friend who loves the RAMONES. I just think the MISFITS were way more rockin' .. I have KRYST THE CONQUEROR ! I got it on cd through the DOYLE fan club back in the day.. it's actually really cool !! I saw the latest incarnation of the MISFITS maybe a year ago?? With Dez playing guitar, Jerry Only on bass and Robo on drums. It was alright. I went because my friends band ( ROCK CITY MORGUE was opening up. I told Jerry, hey "I love KRYST THE CONQUEROR and he was like .. "You like that, eh??" It was cool to see DEZ CADENA play guitar live !! Of course, I wish I would have seen him in BLACK FLAG, but that was just a little before my time.. _________________ Too many chiefs.. not enough braves..
