yup and if you do a search for the name "doyle wolfgang von frankenstein" on yube you can even watch one of the live shows.

Doyle and Jerry had a falling out after Jerry kicked Mikey Graves out of the band in 2001, since then it's been just Jerry as the misfits. Doyle has a new band called Gorgeous Frankenstein but they have yet to release anything.

I only have the ep they released. though they did record a full album it was shelved once Jerry got the rights to the name of the Misfits back in 1996.

Yeah, I have a burn of the EP also. As far as I know, that's all that was ever made available.

Wow, and Jerry and Doyle are brothers, aren't they? Doyle playing with Glenn again musta chaffed Jerry's hide pretty good, I would think. GEEN!

there's a lot of bad blood between them now. Kinda how there is between Jerry and Glenn. then again, Jerry has a strict no drugs, no drinking policy and Mikey is a pot smoking supporter so (like so many metal and punkers seem to encourage these days), I can understand why Jerry gave him the boot after catching him sparking up a doob with one of the roadies.

interesting side note about the Kryst demo.....

the last track on this 5 song ep, the solo in spellbound was later used, note for note, in the Misfits song Descending Angel which can be found on the album Famous Monsters.

Yeah, I would have liked to have seen the Danzig/Doyle thing, but I don't
think it was an extensive tour, If I'm not mistaken. I think it was only a handful of shows ??

What I was really peeved about was missing the SAMHAIN reunion !!
I guess they reformed and actually opened up on a DANZIG tour.
So Glenn was doing two sets..

you are correct sir, Samhain did do some reunion shows, but the original Samhain guitarists were not present, Todd Youth who was playing for Danzig at the time, took over guitar duties in Samhain and to me, that no longer made it a reunion tour but a separate incarnation of the band that just played all the old songs.

Not sure, but I can either send you mp3 files of it over MSN IM, or I can just send you a burn. Lemme know and send me your mailing address if you want me to mail it to you. Smile
