Here's a weird story for ya,I'm at the dwelling of Lyle Steadham pre Ghoultown, back in the Solitude days staring at a MASSIVE poster of Social Distortion, wondering why a doomer has such a thing.Didn't know he dug punk so much then.Anyway, tried em out and liked what I heard, any other Socially Distorted followers out there? IT'S LYLE'S FAULT I'M HOOKED! Evile & OOF!

Not a follower, but I do like everything that I have heard from them. A couple of buddies way back when were right into them, so I ended up getting turned on to a fair bit of their material.

Laughing Heard Ring of Fire and said to myself ,gotta have it , after all ,everything I have doesn't have to be wall pasting heavy! Kinda of one of my edgy but still not soft tweeners I listen to ,like southern rock.Have seen them twice and both were excellent shows.Really dig Mike Ness vox and guitar sound, the closest thing to an original sound i've heard in a long time, though i'm sure there is some obscure infl. out there somewhere that it originates from.
