The other thread got me thinking of bands out there that maybe aren'r hugely known but still notable. Hit The Deck, The Deal, Hanover Saints, Flatfoot 56, etc

There is a punk band from ALASKA!!! The Scurvies. Heard of em?

I've heard of FLATFOOT 56, but haven't actually heard them or the others you mentioned.

A little Dead Milkman story; there was this 2 day fest in my neck of the woods back in the mid nineties, and it was this college rock/punk event with the Ramones and stuff, and my buddy Jeff was sleeping in his little pup tent in a nearby field awaiting the next days events, when the Dead Milkman arrive in their van and nearly run over my friend. They were so close that they actually ran into his tent and knocked it over. They realized what they had done and were very apologetic. But gave him no merch as a form of contrition. Jerks. LOL.
