...is Paramaecium.

I met Andrew Tompkins at the Black Stump festival and was ashamed to tell him that I owned no Para. We got on rather well together and near the end of the tour (he came back to Melbourne with us) he gave me a copy of A Time to Mourn, Within the Ancient Forest and an old cassette of Exhumed.

Considering I've only owned them for less than a week... I LOVE THEM!!!

I don't know why I took so long to discovere their music. Sure I knew they existed, but I never looked into getting any. I suppose it was a good thing that I waited, as the music is not as extreme as I was into last year. I'm now much more able to appreciate the more melodic influences and slow ponderous, yet heavy as hell assault which they deliver.

Any other fans?

Heck yes! Been a fan since Exhumed blew me away back in the early 90's. It went a little downhill after Jayson and Jason left and Andrew had to make most of the music himself, but I like all the albums. Really glad to see them back together again even though it's not doom anymore Smile

Well, they are now InExordium... bloody good bands though. And, yeah, Mr Tompkins is a jolly good chap, as is Mr Sherlock. I met them at Nordic Fest in 2006. WAY UP!
