Anybody heard any of Varg's ambient explorations?

HAHA! I knew I could get you listening to Burzum. Actually, you had a comp from someone else, didn't you? What was on it again?

I noticed this thread a while ago but kept forgetting to post in it.

Have you heard his two all-ambient albums? Hildskjalf and Daudi
Baulders (I'm not sure if I spelt either of those right ...) I haven't
listened to those two^^ in literally years because I never owned them
... I'll have to dig through MP3 catacombs of my computer to find them
and get a refresher.

But the ambient tracks he includes on his albums, I like quite a bit!
My personal favorite being Tomhet from the album Hvis Lyset Tar Oss.
Did
you ever take a listen to Filsofem? It's slower, more ambient black
metal that you might dig musically. Lyrically ALL the album's lyrics
are in Norwegian, so you won't have to worry about content. Actually
the content on that album ain't bad at all, from what I remember, I can
post english translations whenever I get the chance

THREAD HIGHJACKASSERY

I thought it was cool Varg broke out of jail and was on the run for awhile..

I think he only got a short amount of time added to his sentence for
that though. Although, his sentence was almost up anyway when
he flew the coop..

The ambient stuff is mainly what interested me about good ol' BUZZRUM. Big grin But, you are definitely the one who hipped me to the fact that it even existed. Doom-Metal

My friend Joe sent me a cd with two ambient pieces on it which is called Emptiness. I don't know if that's what he titled it, or if that's its actual title... Huh?
