I'm quite impressed with this disk! Quite honestly, I've liked so little DT since Change of Seasons. But this one is really grabbing me.

There is some really heavy stuff and some really hooky melodic stuff. James LaBrie doesn't even annoy me on this record either. That's been my largest beef with the past several DT disks (James' vox).

I venture to say this one is a bit like Awake... With some heavier parts and some better vocal sections!

That's a good thing!

hehe - I'm a fanboy. I had the d/l before it came out- and got the 3 disc set when it did.

I do like this better than the last couple - I like the return of the heaviness. That being said - they will never eclipse Scenes, IMO.

But still. . . good stuff. Smile
