I just got this in the mail yesterday (along with a BITCHEN t-shirt), and it is indeed a repackaging of
The Gate with two extra tracks added on from Mick's
MIDNIGHT ORCHESTRA days ("The Cage" and "War Dance").
As far as I can tell, it has not been remastered or re-recorded, but gone are the annoying preaching samples in between each song and the running order has been changed from the original. I'll have to give it some more listens and compare the two releases to determine if any other differences exist, but this is not new music if that's what you were hoping for. Here's the breakdown:
The Gate (2001)

01. Hurricane
02. The Gate
03. I Am
04. Demons
05. Welcome to My Nightmare
06. Can't Fight
07. The Dark One
08. Dear Aleister
Goliath (2007)

01. Can't Fight
02. Hurricane
03. Demons
04. The Dark One
05. Welcome to My Nightmare
06. The Gate
07. I Am
08. Dear Aleister
09. The Cage
10. War Dance
Given the choice between the two releases, I would recommend the new one since the samples have been removed and the 2 bonus tracks are present (and you can get the BITCHEN t-shirt in a package deal at the band's website:
http://goliathrocks.spruz.com/)
I, of course, have both.
