Listened to a little of it on the way in...sounds like Wino...a little Prog in places, but still retains that timeless, raw, heavy vibe...like a blend of Hard Classic Rock and Doom...

It's a great record. Sort of a love letter to all of his musical influences. The rhythm section is INCREDIBLE. Not a bad tune on the album...and some great ones.

The liner notes are excellent as well.

I've really only been digging into Wino's multiple projects in the last couple years...still have a few more to get to. I still haven't heard THE HIDDEN HAND...and I need to re-examine SPIRIT CARAVAN...

Spirit Caravan is actually my favorite of all these bands. It's partially the "beauty through simplicity" factor, it's very understated stuff...so on first listen it may feel like there's not alot going on, but repeated listening reveals layer after layer.

The title track on Jug Fulla Sun is a high water mark, I'm also very partial to the song "Last Embrace" which shows that Wino's music can be just as heavy played on an acoustic guitar.

If you get the "Last Embrace" 2 CD set, that includes both of their full length albums plus some other songs released on singles. Then all you require is to get the Dreamwheel EP to complete the collection.

The sound quality on Last Embrace is also a definite upgrade to the original issues of those albums.
