Yeah I know you guys have heard about this project. Here is the kicker

The day after my birthday they are playing an hr up the road. With MEgadeth and DOwn opening!!!! The tickets? $60. Bummer!

If it was Ozzy I would be definitely considering it.... but $60????

I would love to see H&H on this tour (oh, and MEGADETH is always a good show). I've never seen the Dio lineup of Sabbath, so I'd really like to go. I hope they hit Phoenix...

I guess Heaven & Hell won't be touring the U.S. until August, besides
the one off show in N.Y. .. now THAT is a Bummer. Talking to you...

You know Anselmo and his attitude usually make me puke. I couldn't stand the whole Superjoint Ritual stuff but I was checking out the last DOWN and it is ok

My best friend who now lives in Texas is going to the NYC show. He said that show is H&H alone with no openers. I would go but I just cant warrant an 8+ hour drive to New York. Nowadays if a show is more than 2 hours away.......Im staying home. Laughing

I'm
not a huge Phil fan and not a huge fan of any of his other projects
(though I do like them sometimes), but Down is definetely a favorite of
mine. Make sure you give the first album a listen sometime.

The first DOWN album is awesome. It has such a killer groove to the whole
thing.

The second album has some really good songs on it, it's just a different vibe.
It will be interesting to hear DOWN III..

I like SUPERJOINT RITUAL. I had their first demo back in the mid nineties
and jammed it so much, that those versions are ingrained in my head.
So when the actual first album came out, it was hard for me to adjust to
those versions, since I have been jamming that demo for YEARS.

What was so great about that demo was, in the mid-nineties, not many bands
were doing the crossover sound ala D.R.I or old C.O.C. .. so it was cool.
That demo is so raw and heavy. One of my faves..

As far as Anselmo goes.. well.. I'm biased for a reason and I'll stick
up for the guy. Everyone is human and has demons to fight..
