Bastards

other than that i never really got into them much.

If you like that one you should definitely pick up a copy of Psalm 9 (the album that Bastards Will Pay comes from), it's a classic.

Korey on vocals doing Come On Touch The Sky...

I am not feeling it... any thoughts? To me it just sounds like a bar band vocalist. What do you guys think?

I was enormously lucky to get to see Trouble in Lillehammer, Norway 15. august, with Korey on vocals.
Before I was extremely nervous, I did not feel "Touch the Sky" at all when listening to it before the show.

But man did they deliver!! Bar none, it is the best show I have ever seen... It might be somewhat influenced by the fact that it was also my *first* Trouble show, but nevertheless... The new guy is great. So nice to see someone singing Trouble with the force and dedication that the songs deserve. So he's not Wagner... But I think progress is nice, the new guy fits perfectly with the newer "stoner" vibe Trouble, maybe less with the old more doomy stuff.

Not everyone was convinced though, especially those that love Trouble mostly for their doomy moments. I spoke with Andrew from My Dying Bride after the show, he is the biggest Trouble fan, and he was kinda okay with the new vocalist as long as he closed his eyes and didnt watch him, only heard him (ok, so hes got some "moves" that wasnt exactly doom-ish :P )...

I posted a review of the Austin TX show with Kory, it wasn't exactly a stellar experience. Kory was so drunk during the performance that he could barely stand up. They are no longer Trouble as far as I'm concerned.

Sorry to hear that! Maybe he was nervous being "the new guy"? In Norway they were definitely "present" all of them, and according to those that also caught their earlier European shows in Britain/Sweden, this was definitely a less intoxicated experience... But I have to admit, for me Trouble is first and foremost the almighty guitarwork of Bruce & Rick... and they certainly delivered.
