Anyone got this?

This truly is a killer lp. It's kinda like a doom laden spaghetti western soundtrack!
The lp has a bonus song that is one whole side of a record and it's pretty cool.

They came through here about a year or two ago in support of this album, but I
didn't have the album yet and missed them. I would have gone to the show if
I knew that record was so killer!

They are coming out with another album sometime soon called Hibernaculam
which is some re-recorded songs and some other songs from limited edition releases.
But they are also gonna have a DVD with it that has a tour documentary from the
HEX tour..

here is their myspace..

I haven't yet checked out that interview, I'll do it later today.

But I'm glad you like the Hex album. Actually, I had only the Earth2
album for the longest time, and hearing from other people that later
Earth wasn't too good, I decided not to check into this. But (over
summer, was it?), Trogg burned Hex for me and I've found I like it
quite a bit. I don't see what people don't like about it. It's not
early Earth, but if it was, it would be boring because there would be
no progression to the band's sound.

The new album 'The Bees Made Honey In The Lion's Skull' has been on frequent rotation for the last couple months. The mood it creates is just amazing. It's a perfect meditation/reflection album, but is never boring. An extra bonus is the amazing Arik Roper cover art:

I actually picked up the album because Bill Frisell makes a guest appearance on a couple tracks (I wasn't familiar with the old Earth albums) but I was so blown away that I'm now working my way backwards through their catalog.

I have Hibernaculum and plan on picking up Hex next.

Earth is drone with a soul.

Dang, that's some excellent cover art! This band has been on my "got to check them out" list for too long now...
