| I am just listening to a band called Clutch on Napster and they sound like they should be included in this forum! Anyone know about them? |

| I would say a hybrid of stoner rock with some funk influence and a lot of 70's hard rock. They refuse to be genrefied. |

| I have their S/T and when it first came out that thing dominated my CD player. Just love it! I had Pure Rock Fury. It has its very good moments but I traded it off. They do have a very unique sound. Among other things, the vocalist is very distict. _________________ You will be hated

| I love their self titled. I was lucky enough to see them tour it in support of Tad Doyle. Now that was a pretty gruff concert. |

I'm here when I'm in my gaseous state (which doesn't happen enough, since there is no White Castle Hamburgers in this frickin' town). |

| I just found a used copy of Pure Rock Fury for five bucks. I've been meaning to check out CLUTCH, so I went for it, and I'm glad I did! Based on the other posts in this thread, this isn't a favorite of some fans, but I sure dig it. Friggin' heavy, tough, bluesy, stoner/biker rock (that's the best I can do in terms of something resembling a genre ). Clever, humorous lyrics in many of the tunes, too. Great, now I've got another stinkin' band with a big back catalogue of albums to spend my money on!! |
