New album due out March 2010. Songs for inclusion are 'Journeys Into Jade', 'The Casket Chasers',
'Funeral Of Dreams', 'Death Of An Anarchist', 'La Noche Del Buque
Maldito (aka Ghost Ship Of The Blind Dead)' and 'Open Mind Surgery'
among others. The album is going to be called "The Guessing Game" and i have been promised a promo copy for late January and i cant wait. Its been too long between drinks for this band but how can they follow up "The Garden Of Unearthly Delights" ?

You lucky bastard!
Can't wait to get my hands on this!
I don't worry too much if they'll top The Garden... or not; unless they have completely lost their mojo in the intervening years, I know it will be a quality album that I will most probably spin countless times, just as all their previous efforts.

Yeah i feel the same way, Cathedral have always been a band i can also trust to bring out something decent every time. Even their most average efforts still sound better than 90% of other bands but that is just my opinion.

'La Noche Del Buque
Maldito (aka Ghost Ship Of The Blind Dead)'

YESSSSSSS!! I love the fact that they seem to keep coming back to the Blind Dead films of Amando D'Ossorio!

You can argue that Lee Dorrian's vocals are not too good but its hard to question their lyrical ideas. They have always had cool concepts for songs.
