They are a great band but a little pompous at times. I used to do promotional work for them but had a falling out with Damon Fox. I don't know how one person can have a ego so big ha ha but that is another story.

I was blown away the first time I heard Hex. It was so familiar, yet completely different. When Cheat the Gallows came out, I got it immediatley but was a little let down with it. It didn't grab me by the short & curlies like I hoped it would. I've since warmed up to it a little more, but it'll never compare to the first spin of Hex.

I'd like to hear their back catalog, but it all seems out of print & a little pricey for me. Some day I'll track it down.

Yes, Hex i think is their best album but Money Machine is a close second. I rate Cheat The Gallows as their weakest album but it still has some great tunes like Blackball.
