| ...even though it never fully came into existence.  It's almost like it was "unborn", huh King?  For personal reasons, Ian has decided that he does not want this project to ever be finished or released.  And for other personal reasons, Randy (that's me, folks!) has decided that it will not be resuscitated again under any circumstances currently known to mankind.  So it will remain the great "unavailable" doom project. A mystery, an anomaly, a perpetual thorn in the side of those who were waiting for it.  Now that's DOOM.

| Sorry guys.  It appears that this thing was doomed from the start - how appropriate.  Between Ian's conviction to let it go and my wife's health situation blocking me from really getting it finished, it appears that this thing never had a chance.  Never fear though, it's absence will become just as much of an inspirational creative force as its presence might've been - in fact, maybe even moreso.  On the bright side, no longer having this project to finish does free space up in my mental hard drive to re-focus on TD's return to doomform.  |

| Looking forward to the new album, Randy!  You should ask Ian if he's willing to release the rough BNS instrumentals as bonus tracks for something ... It would be cool to see them released somewhere, but that may be wishful thinking. It just seems a shame to see that cool riffage go down the drain ...

I can promise you that will never happen. Ian doesn't want the project to ever see the light of day in its current form, and he also doesn't want the name "Black Night Sky" attached to it in any way.
But I can also promise you that not a single drop of cool riffage will be going to waste. |

| Just curious, but is Ian willing to divulge to the public the reasons he doesn't want these songs published?? If the answer is no, I guess that's fine ... but I, for one, wouldn't mind knowing what brought on the change of heart.
